Who can close the London Fashion Week better than Mr Tom Ford? Well, no one actually.

And he did it – again – an huge success! With his Fall 2014 collection he changes completely his style from the past seasons and again scored a huge hit. Different from all the others designer, who stray their path trying to find alternative declination of their vision, the ability of Mr Ford is his charismatic communication that makes the eclectic inspiration and the change of scene in his style considered part of its creative charm.

The Tom Ford look is confirmed once again as the synonymous of the luxurious and sensual femininity, a quality of execution that tied to an expensive excellence and a glamour factor that is so powerful to make the designer a main personality for the fashion world.

The collection is inspired by the Londoner avant-garde of the 60s and the look are dark and sharp, sober but extremely cool, compact and without embroideries or prints or over-the-top statements, but full of the sex appeal of the safety, the strength and the elegance that is the real trademark style of the Tom Ford woman.

An amazing collection that fit for every woman and every occasion, that will make you feel self-confident and powerful, we can all just say thank you Mr Ford.

Our Personal Shopper Reveals Tom Ford Spring 2014 Collection

The Tom Ford collection has definitely been the best show finale for the London Fashion week.

The point is that Mr Ford knows what women want, even better than them.

Leather, exotic skins, appliqué, transparency, sharp silhouettes and high waist brief are what make the Tom Ford’s woman always look amazing.

The colours: the total black or the total white, both for suits and dresses, with the addition of the light chocolate brown and a touch of candy orange for the precious mini dresses.

The show was opened by a fierce biker jacket and miniskirt combo made in oak-coloured crocodile, and next came oversize coats, trousers and mini-skirts with corsetry lacing at the back. The leather is a substantial and soft nappa which was embellished in matelassé or hemmed with a tone on tone suede. A series of white or black leather pieces follows.

Mini dresses in cherished fabric interchange transparency, opaque and shiny bandage, wrap up the figure in a lean look.

The unfailing tuxedo suits for Ford’s handsome women along with dresses in fil coupè woven always shined up and just precede the sparkling part of the collection.

The jubilation of the cornely embroidery and the crystal application is breathtaking. With a flash back in the 60s dance floor, key motifs in the collection were fractured mirrors and spidery lace.

Long sleeved mini dresses were toxically beautiful, wrapped in curling ribbons, encrusted in sequin shards or fragments of mirror. They came with matching tight-high boots and they bounced the light around like a disco balls.

Sheer, he definitely achieved his goal for this collection: “Make women look powerful”.

From Your Personal Shopper in New York: Tom Ford creates ‘Suit & Tie’ for Justin Timberlake

Tom Ford has teamed up with Justin Timberlake to design outfits for the actor and singer’s new video.

Tom Ford has worked on a series of clothes and accessories designed specifically for the new Timberlake album which are expected to appear in videos and visuals when the record drops in the spring.

Timberlake is no stranger to the world of fashion himself. A designer in his own right, the singer regularly tops best-dressed lists although he doesn’t always wear his own label, William Rast.

The American fashion designer, who also styled Timberlake for the promotional artwork, is famous for his bespoke men’s tailoring.

The new single is Timberlake’s first musical endeavour in nearly six years and is accompanied by a black and white video that sees the singer adopt a suave 50’s suited style.

Tom Ford said: ‘I adore Justin. He has innate style and enormous talent. It has been such a pleasure and honour to work with him throughout this entire creative process.’

The cover shot for Timberlake’s first single from the new record, “Suit & Tie” (featuring an equally style-savvy Jay-Z) , features a Tom Ford tuxedo with satin peak lapels, a white shirt and an oversized satin bow tie.

The 31-year-old singer is also seen in luxury Tom Ford garb in the video, including a three-piece suit and a black lapel two-piece tuxedo.
