Travellers on Singapore Airline flights will soon be able to enjoy inspired Italian creations by one of Italy’s best, chef-restaurateur Carlo Cracco of two Michelin-starred Ristorante Cracco. He joins a stellar team of eight other international chefs on the airline’s highly regarded International Culinary Panel, which includes the likes of local star Sam Leong, Japan’s Yoshihiro Murata and Australia’s Matthew Moran. The panel works closely with the airline’s chefs to create the unique selection available for passengers.

“Creating menus for an airline will be very different from creating menus for my restaurant, but I look forward to challenging myself,” said Cracco. “I will strive to express my philosophy, experience, feelings and taste through my recipes and provide customers my cuisine as though they were at my restaurant in Milan.”

From January 2013, his dishes will be served on Italian and other selected European routes.

A highly regarded culinary figure in the Italian, Western and Continental European dining scenes, Chef Cracco is known as a  leader in the new generation of progressive Italian cuisine.

Ristorante Cracco has two Michelin stars and is listed among the top restaurants in the world, garnering worldwide attention for its creative takes on  Classic Italian food.

A charming media personality who has been featured in countless print publications, Chef Cracco is also a resident judge on one of the most popular television programmes in Italy, MasterChef Italia, and has written two books.

HERMÈS is creating the kits for the French Olympic equestrian team, when they compete in the London 2012 Games this month.

The French luxury brand is providing the riding jackets to be worn by both the show-jumping and eventing team.

Hermès  has released a sketch, which includes a navy,  blazer-style jacket, featuring red lapels.

The piece has been tailored using a light, flexible technical fabric,  enabling the players to move comfortably. The last time Hermès teamed up with the French national team was for the 1996  Olympic Games in Atlanta, USA.

Hermès joins other designers including Salvatore Ferragamo (San Marino), Stella McCartney (Great Britain), Ralph Lauren (USA), Prada and Emporio Armani (Italy) in dressing teams for this year’s Summer  Olympic Games.

After launching their jewelry line last year, Dolce & Gabbana is getting ready for their next project: Men’s watches.

D&G has announced that it will release a luxury mens watch collection this summer.

The lush Swiss-made collection is embellished in diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires and split into three styles.

The line will feature 52 models, the collection is expected to be sold in 30 stores by the end of the year.

“To us a watch is an item to love, collect, pass down. I love when people wear watches that once belonged to their grandfathers or fathers. I would love if this was the case with our watches in the future,” Domenico Dolce told The Guardian.

Dolce & Gab­bana enlists three of its favorite male muses.

The label turns to David Gandy, Adam Senn and Enrique Pala­cios, who are lensed by fashion photographer Mar­i­ano Vivanco in con­fi­dent and pow­er­ful por­traits.
